What is Bootcamp?

Bulldog Bootcamp is a 4 week program that meets Monday through Friday, 3 & 5 days/week in the morning (5a & 6a) or 3 days/week [only] in the evening (6:30p at our Lincoln Park location). We also offer classes 3 days/week at our Grant Park location (M-W-F 6a only) as well.

Workouts are one hour and consist of running drills, plyometrics, calesthenics, along with stair workouts, intervals, plyometrics, beach workouts and much, much more that will be done in a different format each day. We believe in the theory that consistancy along with varied high intensity workouts will achieve the best results for your overall fitness. Don’t be concerned that you must be in shape or an athlete to join our program.  You CAN do it and we can help you. We don’t expect you to do more than you can, but your instructor will push you to your physical limits. If you come with a good attitude and give us your best effort, that will allow us to help you reach your fitness goals. 

At the start of the program you will perform a fitness assessment to create a frame of reference, or starting point so that both the instructor as well as the member can learn where they are with their current fitness level.  

Our Chicago Boot Camp Fitness Program’s are based on a combination of strength and cardiovascular exercises.  Drill instructors keep things lively by integrating push-ups, pull-ups, squats and other strength builders with running, sprinting drills and plyometrics designed to increase speed and build cardiovascular endurance.

Our instructors will challenge you to do your best each and every day. They may get a little loud in effort to make you stronger and build you up, but never with intentions to tear you down.  They’ll be positive, motivating, and encouraging.  There will be times that you’ll curse your D.I. during the workouts but will soon forget all about it when you start to feel and see the results.
