What is Bootcamp?
Bulldog Bootcamp is a 4 week program that meets Monday through Friday, 5 days per week in the morning or 3 days per week in the evening (at our Lincoln Park location only). Workouts are for one hour and consist of running drills, plyometrics, and calesthenics done in a different format each day. We believe in the theory that constantly varied high intensity workouts will achieve the best results for your overall fitness. You’ll do stair workouts, intervals, plyometrics, beach workouts and much more. Don’t be worried that you can’t do it. You can do it and we’ll help. We don’t expect you to do more than you can. We just want you to do your best.
At the start of the program you will perform a fitness test to create a frame of reference, or starting point so to speak.
Our Chicago Boot Camp Fitness Program’s are based on a combination of strength and cardiovascular exercises. Drill instructors keep things lively by integrating push-ups, pull-ups, squats and other strength builders with running, sprinting drills and plyometrics designed to increase speed and build cardiovascular endurance.
Our instructors will challenge you to do your best each and every day. They may get a little loud but not to tear you down. They’ll be positive, motivating, and encouraging. There will be times that you’ll curse your D.I. during the workouts but not when you experience the results.
